***** Chapter 1 *****
The flimsy desk under Reigen’s elbows shook like someone was rattling it, and a
bit belatedly he realized it was his own damn fault as he stilled the trembling
of his limbs. The smell of blood was slowly growing stronger, inching into the
room by the moment. His eyes kept straying to the door shut tight to keep the
brunt of it from the office, and a trickle of sweat ran down the side of his
face. He stood abruptly and walked over to the windows of the office and peeked
through the blinds into the dark night. No cars passed on the street, no lights
were on in the windows of the surrounding buildings. Reigen forced out a breath
and cracked one of the windows open by a fraction. Maybe he was just being
paranoid.
“Shishou.” A demure voice sounded behind him. The split second of cold fear
around his heart caused Reigen to buckle against the sill for a moment. He
caught himself and spun around with a flourish, wiping the sweat from his
forehead in one easy motion as he did so to face his student.
“Oh, Mob. How… was it?” He asked, pressing his hands deep into his pocket as he
eyed his student with as much casualness as he could muster. It wasn’t much,
but the boy smiled bashfully at him nonetheless and pressed a hand to his mouth
to hide his teeth. The red stains shook something deep in Reigen’s gut.
“It was fine, thank you Shishou.” Mob replied, lowering his hand and turning
his head to the room he had emerged from. The door was open but the room, like
the rest of the office, was dark. “I’ll only need another moment to clean it
up…” He said. “I just wanted you to know that I was done.”
“Alright, Mob.” Reigen said, hanging by the desk as his student padded back to
the room, barefoot and careful. The bathroom was the best place to do this,
really. He was lucky to have one in the office; the tiles were much easier to
scrub.
Reigen sat at his desk heavily and laid his hands over his face once the
bathroom door closed once more. His stomach was in knots in his center,
absolutely a mess, but he held the queasiness in because he knew if he got sick
he’d have to go there to do it and really, he couldn’t stomach the sight of the
bleached tiles any longer.
“Am I going to hell?” He mumbled to himself as he slid his clammy hands down
his face and to his lap, sitting dazed in his seat as he looked blankly across
the room. The clinical sound of spray bleach against tile hit his ears gently.
It was familiar now. How often did Mob need this? Once a week? It used to be
once a month; the boy was growing.
Maybe a half hour later the door to the bathroom swung open yet again, and the
blistering smell of cleaning products slapped Reigen in the nose and stung his
throat when he drew in a breath as his little Mob walked into the room with a
black garbage bag hanging in the air behind him. He floated it across the room
and deposited it gently on his small side desk, its contents so cleanly
portioned they didn’t betray any of the secrets inside.
“I left the window open and the fan on like you asked.” Mob said, standing by
his desk as he leaned down to pull his socks and shoes on. His white skin was
like snow under the black material of his gakuran, meticulously and carefully
guarded from spurts and stains during the time he spent shut inside the
bathroom. Reigen wondered what he told his parents when he stayed out this
late. He was only in middle school after all.
“Thanks.” Reigen said, standing from his seat, dragging the smell of bleach
into his lungs like he thought it would clean him, too. “Good work, it looks
really clean today.” He left out the part where he apologized for not being
able to help him; he could never get that part past his lips. Mob seemed to
feel it all the same, though, and his gratitude showed in his now bright and
lustrous eyes where they glinted across the room like he was a cat in a dark
alley at night. Violent, teeth, claws, strings of flesh and rivers of blood.
“Shall I carry it?” Mob said, hovering by the desk with the garbage bag that
Reigen couldn’t keep his eyes off of. Time to be a man, Arataka, the voice
inside him said as he shook his head and walked over to the boy. He felt bad
knowing he left so much of this burden on Mob’s shoulders. He could do little
things. He could provide the room, the cleaning supplies, the … necessary
component, he could provide the transportation. There was so much this boy
dealt with on his own. Reigen recalled the first time they’d done it like this,
and the trembling snot-nosed and miserable expression on his students face as
he rushed out of the room with blood down the front of his shirt straight into
his alarmed arms. They’d come quite a long way.
It’s gotten easier for the both of them.
“I’ve got it.” Reigen said, picking up the bag and trying hard to not gag when
the contents brushed up against him as he shouldered it. They only did this
sort of thing late at night, and unfortunately that was the most suspicious
time to be carrying such a package. Thank God the drop off point wasn’t far
away. Reigen wondered how long he could keep doing this before his luck ran
out; no one really worked with the Yakuza for long. Especially with such
suspicious deals.
Reigen looked back on their meeting almost fondly, remembering the shocked eyes
of the crime lord taking in the small form of his student who sat clutching at
his side. Mob had been twelve at the time, it was only a year ago, and the man
was eager to keep the boy near his master, like a lion and its trainer. He had
made a lackey get close to inspect the boy’s teeth – good thinking, too, as he
retreated his hand minus two fingers.
Mob couldn’t stop apologizing. Or keeping himself from licking at the blood on
his lips.
“What was this one?” Mob asked as he passed through the doorway out of the
office first, a thousand times lighter on his feet now than how he had been
earlier today. Mob was lethargic before feeding, dragging his feet with a dull
color to his hair and eyes, but now he nearly bounced beside his master down
the sidewalk with an energy about him that gave Reigen whiplash. After some
research all those years ago, Reigen found out with a heavy weight in his
stomach that, should an esper go too long without proper… nutrition… they’d
waste away before one’s eyes.
What would my mother think of this? Reigen thought as he followed Mob down the
road and pawed in his back pocket for the paper, the notes of the job written
in quick, hasty handwriting. She was probably expecting grandchildren, but here
he was, trailing after a middle school boy who routinely cannibalized the scum
of Japan for the Yakuza because it was convenient for both parties. What kind
of girl would willingly become a part of this?
Never mind that Reigen himself was learning something new about his own tastes
day by day as he shook his eyes off the boy’s hips for what felt like the tenth
time that second. He shook the paper open and squinted at the lettering.
“Um… This one was a pedophile that happened to have engaged in some illegal
acts with the boss’s son.” He said, sealing his mouth after, stuffing the paper
back into his pocket. How fitting.
“Oh.” Mob replied, pausing in his journey, looking back at his master and the
bag over his shoulder. “Is that why he was moaning?”
Reigen breathed out hard through his nose. “Well… They usually moan.” He said,
now side by side with his student, walking in the empty street. Even with the
height of the sidewalk added to Mob, his student barely breached his shoulder.
Reigen switched the bag from one hand to the other.
“Do they?” Mob asked curiously, turning his gaze away from his master as he
picked his way over a pile of garbage on the ground. They were starting to
enter into the less desirable parts of the neighborhood; the drop off point was
near.
“Yes. Don’t you notice it?” Reigen asked, maneuvering around a broken
television set. “When I first read up about your… condition, I noticed a part
that said your saliva is full of hormones. It must be especially potent because
you’re so young.”
Mob blushed and skipped over a puddle of dirty water. The windows on the
buildings around them were cracked and covered in plywood. Only one more block.
“Ritsu has started.” He said, sparing a glance at his master as they crossed
the street together. Reigen pressed his lips in a line.
“Oh.” He said dully. “Does he… Want to join you?” He asked, darting his eyes to
the side to look at his student. Managing one at a time was difficult…
“No. It’s slow at first, like it was for me. I can handle it.”
Reigen’s eyebrows came together and he stopped at the corner, letting his arm
swing by his side. The garbage bag settled heavily against the cracked
sidewalk. “You mean? No.” He said, shaking his head and turning away to march
down the street. “I’m going to renegotiate. You hated doing that to him, I’m
not going to allow it.”
“Shishou.” Mob said, holding his ground. Reigen whipped his head back in
distress. Mob could handle any threat in the world, but this was one discussion
he did not want to have two doors away from the end of tonight’s business. “It
tastes better if it’s from someone you care about.”
“What?” Reigen asked, about ready to throw the bag away onto the steps – he
could see them, painted red, how fitting. “What do you mean?”
“I mean it’s just… better.” Mob said, pacing up to him, taking the bag from his
hands. “I need a lot more these days because I don’t care about these people…
One bite from me every month will be enough for Ritsu for now; he hasn’t got
anybody else, and I’ve already done it to him before… I don’t mind. It’s only
fair.”
Reigen felt like pulling out his hair. The sky was washed out with pollution
and light, but he could see little drops of rain against the windows start to
appear. He really just wanted to go home, all the fight left his chest as he
sighed. “That’s right. It’s like a nutritional thing; I’m sorry, Mob. But I
didn’t know these guys weren’t doing it for you.”
“That’s why I’m not able to leave much.” Mob said, turning and walking to the
steps. He placed the bag on the top step and knocked on the door twice before
returning to Reigen’s side. Together they turned around and heard the door open
and snap shut, but neither looked back over their shoulder as they picked their
way across the sidewalk on their way home.
“I guess that’s why it feels good for the… people.” Reigen offered, holding his
hand out to help Mob jump over the puddle – it had grown considerably in the
drizzling rain. The boy smiled at him and landed gracefully, but hesitated to
pull his hand away for a moment. In his embarrassment he hurried forward a
number of steps to put some space between himself and his master, and because
of that Reigen let his eyes hug Mob’s thighs as he reached up to pull a hand
through his damp hair.
Maybe it was time he reassessed the danger level of his student. He was
practically a succubus at this point.

     I love... you... all......
One year can really make a difference, Reigen mused as he watched his student
gnaw on his pen across the room. His eyes tracked the fine motions of his teeth
over the pen for a moment, before he dropped his gaze. Mob’s homework lay
strewn about his desk in a haphazard fashion, some kind of organized chaos that
he probably learned from Reigen, now that he thought about it. The sight was
endearing, and he watched the boy ruffle through his books to find the page he
was looking for as he bit his lip – it was soft looking and red between his
strikingly white teeth. Though he was still small for his age, Mob had grown
quite a bit and was a proper teenager now – thirteen-year-old shoulders filling
in the black material of his gakuran like he was building up energy for another
growth spurt. Now Mob was easily at his chin.
Reigen watched out the corner of his eye as he agitated his papers with his
telekinesis, shaking them like leaves on a tree absently, almost without
noticing, it seemed, as he placed his pen down and shifted his hands under his
thighs. When his dark, beautiful eyes flicked to meet his own under the line of
his bangs, Reigen felt his stomach curl up inside him as his student’s cheeks
bloomed a rosy pink.
“Is it time yet?” Mob asked, letting his impatience creep into his tone as he
turned his head to hide the color on his cheeks. Reigen swallowed, and wondered
to himself quietly when exactly Mob had grown into something so breathtaking in
this past year.
“How much work have you done?” He asked, holding his ground. Reigen did know a
thing or two about children; specifically, not to let them walk all over you.
Several parenting guides were tucked into his stacks of books in the office. He
knew his shit.
“I’ve finished now.” Mob said, placing his hands on the desk, looking down at
them as he adjusted the piles into something neat.
“Really? Do you want me to look at it?” Reigen asked, tilting his head to the
side, calling his bluff. There was no way the kid was even halfway through.
“No. I’ll be fine to turn it in like this.” Mob said, rising from his desk,
meeting his gaze and holding it steady as he moved to block his papers from
view. Reigen was about to protest, but one needy look from his student was
quick to kill the words on his tongue. “I’m hungry, Shishou. It’s all I could
think about all day.”
Ah, sweet defeat. He couldn’t resist something like that. Reigen bit the inside
of his cheek as he looked at the wall. “Fine.”
And that was that.
Yes, one year really does make a difference, Reigen mused as he walked to the
bathroom behind the anxious form of his student. He opened the door with a
quick shake of the lock, and stepped back to allow Mob to slip inside. The
smell of bleach hardly bothered him any longer; in fact, he preferred to smell
it. It meant safety. It meant that Mob was happy and well cared for; the little
esper seemed to glow just looking at the meal waiting for him. The bag over the
victim’s head was a taste of the usual, though, and Reigen was just alright
with that. They were always meant to leave the head anyway.
But instead of slipping inside, Mob faltered at the threshold and looked back
at him with something new in his eyes.
“Shishou…” He began, reaching forward and gripping the edge of the door with
his tiny, pale fingers. “Could we try something different this time?”
A warm, wobblily feeling unsettled the pit of Reigen’s stomach, but his smile
never wavered. Grace under fire, a useful tool.
“What kind of different, Mob?” He asked carefully, taking in the gentle flush
touching his student’s cheeks, and the way he couldn’t quite meet his eyes.
Wetting his lips between breaths. Hesitating.
Reigen knew what he was going to ask before Mob even got the words out. Even a
year, it seemed, couldn’t prepare someone for a proposition such as this.
“I was wondering if you could help me during it.” Mob said, finally finding his
voice as he cast his eyes to the floor, into the bathroom, to Reigen’s shoes,
his anxiety blatant as Reigen sucked in a breath like he’d been punched in the
gut.
“You mean, ah…”
“You could feed it to me.” Mob said, lifting his gaze – fuck, he was pulling
out all the stops – and turning his gentle, pleading eyes to Reigen’s
defenseless form as he leaned into the door, still small, still dangerous,
still hungry and today, in more ways than one.
“Feed it to you?” Reigen echoed dumbly, his own fingers locking into the door
as he swayed a little on his feet. Of course he’d thought about that before.
What else was he going to do, keep fretting over it his whole life? Not when
Mob could make them moan like that each time, that was for certain. Especially
when he could hear Mob lose it, too. He’d gotten very good at filtering out the
squelches and screams in favor of tuning in to his student’s groans. Not like
he was obsessed, or anything.
Just… observant.
Mob licked his lips nervously, and Reigen tripped over his words looking at his
teeth. Observant and maybe, just, kind of, a little interested?
“Will that help? Ah, with the whole, well, you know; it’ll make it better for
you? You’ll need less?”
The boy shrugged, his dark eyes full of hunger. Now that used to fuck Reigen
up, and keep him awake for long nights as he stared at the ceiling with his
heart slamming against his ribs. He’d be kidding nobody if he said the
curiosity hadn’t brought a hand down his pants only recently, but he had to
save face and Mob was just tearing through him, taking whole chunks right out
of –
“Fine then, we can do that.” He said, slamming the breaks on his thoughts only
to invite himself into an even messier accident. Come-crusted boxers were
nothing in comparison to the bloodbath Mob had to clear up most every week, and
besides, Reigen was probably due for some suffering as his student lit up and
danced into the room and the only thing he could look at was his ass. Reigen
shut the door behind them quietly, and wondered when exactly he’d committed
himself to this beautiful, young god.
Perhaps this was his initiation, he thought idly as Mob gave him a sheepish
look and approached his meal. Baptism by fire, or, perhaps in this instance,
blood. His loss of the suit would be his penance for making the child wait so
long – there was no way he could turn this in to the drycleaner after what it
would look like later tonight.
Mob walked up to the man quickly, agitated in his nerves, but he smiled as the
man’s head lolled to the side, a low noise escaping his throat. The drugs were
wearing off.
Disobedient drug runner Reigen thought as he mechanically stripped his suit
jacket and laid it over the sink before working his fingers deftly around the
knot of his tie. Their crimes were getting pettier and pettier – the yakuza was
hard pressed to keep the supply going, apparently. Or maybe it was just a slow
month.
Mob unbuttoned his gakuran and pulled off his undershirt eagerly, no shame in
his energy as he tossed his clothes to Reigen’s pile. His pants came next –
Reigen looked up at the ceiling and prayed for strength, good god was he fucked
– as he wiggled out one leg at a time, hopping around in his tight white
briefs.
“Sometimes it gets messy.” Mob murmured, standing behind the man in his
modesty, wiggling his toes to keep them from growing cold on the sterile tile.
“It’s alright. I know it does.” Reigen said, soothing words coming from his
lips as his heart nearly strangled him with how high it jumped into his throat.
Mob’s chest was pale and thin, and his ribs showed in shadows as he stretched
around his dinner and tossed a crisp white sheet over the sink.
The man pulled his arms against the restraints. Reigen and Mob turned their
attention to him, and his slow, muddled voice, as he shuffled his feet on the
floor and twitched his fingers arrhythmically. Reigen stubbornly smushed down
the instinct to be sick in favor of taking a passive stance against the wall,
hands in his pockets as he waited patiently for Mob to get on with it like he
wasn’t about to pop the weirdest boner from watching his thirteen-year-old
employee ingest half of the man tied in his bathroom with zip ties provided by
his yakuza contact, who strove, above all else, to make this process as easy
for the little esper as possible.
Because people were afraid of Mob, the little doe-eyed boy who couldn’t keep
his gaze off Reigen in the side of the room as he slipped around the man to his
front, like a shadow.
Well, most people were afraid of Mob. Reigen had the feeling that he must have
always been a bit abnormal when, instead of getting sick when Mob seemed to
finally break under his need to bite into the disoriented man, the front of his
trousers got tight, and his voice was one of the three that gasped when the
boy’s teeth dug into the man’s left shoulder.
Mob was quick to get to work, and Reigen noted with little surprise that he
appeared to have a strategy to his game. First, it seemed to include smoothly
sliding into his prey’s lap with a kind of ease that told Reigen he’d done so
hundreds of times before, and left him aching to feel it himself even as he
watched the boy slide his arms around the man’s tense, corded neck, gracefully
avoiding the spurt of blood that painted the wall under the window. Two inches
higher, and someone outside would be dialing for the police before Reigen could
even grab the door handle.
When the man bucked his hips and groaned, Reigen also noted that the reason he
had such little surprise was most likely due to the fact that he was just
aroused instead. Mob pressed his hips up against his captive’s and rolled, not
shy as he let a shiver rip down his back before burying his face back into his
neck. Reigen could smell the blood before he could see it drip down off the
chair, but even that was masked by the scent of teen boy rutting through a haze
of need against a warm, wet, willing body.
Reigen watched, glued against the wall, as Mob took apart the man at his seams
until they were both quaking in the chair. Mob was louder than he’d normally be
– or maybe this was the difference being in there with him, without the door to
muffle his groans – and Reigen was unbuckling his belt before the boy even
remembered he was here.
The man was bleeding out, missing half his shoulder when Mob scrambled around
in his lap, reaching back to grip the bag over his head as he steadied himself
with his bleary eyes and trembling arms. He could barely keep himself upright
as he pressed his ass back into their guest’s hips, grinding against the bulge
as his own leaked in the front of his briefs. His pale skin stretched over his
bones where he arched his spine back and gasped, letting his head roll back
onto the man’s untouched shoulder as he bucked his hips and met Reigen’s eyes
with some difficulty.
Blood painted the front of his chest, all the way down to his thighs. It
sparkled in the filmy fluorescent light, and Reigen’s hand itched for his phone
as he resolved to commit that image to memory forever. His knees were weak, and
he fell into Mob more than anything as he pressed into the boy with greedy
fingers and lips.
“Shishou!” Mob gasped, rocking his hips forward and grabbing for Reigen’s hair,
and it really felt like just the two of them as Reigen’s mind clouded over and
he licked a clean white stripe up the red on his neck as he took a crushing
grip on his hips, dragging the boy forward until he could line their hips up,
and he could grind his cock against Mob’s ass as the boy whined and looked at
him like he wanted Reigen to eat him whole.
Two hours later, Reigen was down two bites from the inside of his thigh, and
Mob was coming off his third orgasm, and the bathroom floor bore the marks of a
satisfying meal and an enthusiastic dessert as both surviving members caught
their breath in shocked silence.
Mob broke it with a groan as his knees buckled and his face pressed into the
wall, ass dripping Reigen’s cum as he panted and looked back at his master.
“Thank you, Shishou.”
Oh yes, one year certainly changes a lot.
